Sarah Hicks is recognized as one of the leading conductors of pops and film music today, and is also at the cutting edge of the growing field of film music. Her specialty is bringing the classical music of the past to life for modern audiences, and also premiering works by the leading composers of music for the screen today. She is Music Director of the Theater Lliure in Barcelona, and has conducted at festivals all over the world, including Argentina, Austria, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland and the UK, among others. She has performed a wide variety of movie scores with many of the country's leading symphony orchestras.
