It’s been a while since fans have seen Third Eye Blind hit the road. For this reason, the band has made it a point to deliver one of the biggest rock outings of the season! Frontman Stephan Jenkins shared in a statement, “I have this sense that I am feeling the same way everybody else is — that we need a summer tour so badly, like more than ever. “We need the lights, the noise, the heat, and everybody up close to each other, singing as one. Can’t wait.” Surely, the fans miss Third Eye Blind just as much as the band misses the fans and all the action. This summer, expect a plethora of iconic songs from the band’s seven-album discography. During the late ‘90s and early 2000s, Third Eye Blind belted out incredible rock anthems, such as “Semi-Charmed Life,” “How’s It Going to Be,” “Jumper,” “Never Let You Go,” and “Deep Inside of You.” These singles have earned multiple platinum certifications in the U.S. after an insane amount of airplay. Special guest Yellowcard is thrilled to be on The Summer Gods Tour. The pop-rock band has cited Third Eye Blind as one of their influences in previous interviews. According to frontman Ryan Key, “Third Eye Blind self-titled is a masterclass in songwriting that blew all of our minds when it was released in 1997. As ’90s kids, we were gifted with so much incredible music in our formative years, and we are all such massive fans of the band because of that record.” From being a fan to touring with the band in 2024, Key admitted feeling that all this is surreal. “It doesn’t feel real yet that we will share the stage with one of our all-time favorite bands every night this summer.” Platinum-selling pop punk band Yellowcard rose to prominence in the early 2000s thanks to hits like “Ocean Avenue” and “Only One.” The band is regarded as one of the most influential purveyors in the pop-punk scene, and they’re work has paved the way for a newer generation of pop-rock bands to emerge several years later.
Arizona also joins the Summer Gods Tour and will promote their latest self-titled album. The third effort follows the band’s string of chart-performing releases, such as “Cross my Mind” and Nostalgic,” from their efforts Gallery and Asylum. Last year, Arizona’s latest album spawned three hit singles, “Moving On,” “Dark Skies,” and “Die for a Night.” Expect a highly energized set as the rising stars in pop-rock deliver their outstanding hits and fan favorites.
