Blossom Music Center
The Guess Who come to the Blossom Music Center on Sunday, June 28th. The name of the tour is "Takin' It Back." When you hear the story of why the band's original guitarist, Randy Bachman, and singer Burton Cummings were not playing for The Guess Who for decades, you'll understand exactly what's going on. This is a live performance, a ton of years in the making. In fact, there are plenty of fans out there who probably thought this would never happen. Yet, justice was served, and now we're ready to rock!
To celebrate everything that's going on with The Guess Who, you're going to be able to find seats inside the Blossom Music Center for around $50. That's one of the steals of the season at this venue. If you're ready for a trip down memory lane serenaded by songs like the now ironically named “Share the Land,” make sure to hit the "Buy Tickets" link soon.
This performance has been a long time coming, and that's why fans are seemingly lining up at the gates of the Blossom Music Center as we speak! The Guess Who, with the original duo of guitarist Randy Bachman and singer Burton Cummings, is back on the road. During the better part of 20 years, these two were not a part of "The Guess Who" that had been playing shows. Finally, after a long legal battle, the heart and soul of the original band are back together and ready to rock. It speaks volumes about what their peers think about them that, since the news came out that there was a ruling in their favor, The Guess Who were invited to perform at the rock legends cruise. You don't have to hit the water to catch them live, though they're coming to Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, on June 28th.
There are a ton of 60s and 70s rock anthems that belong to The Guess Who, and for the longest time, fans weren't able to hear them live. “American Woman,” “These Eyes,” “No Time,” those are just the tip of the iceberg. Yet, one look at the potential setlist that these guys can put together and you'll realize it's a treat to be able to still hear these tracks from their original authors in a live setting. A lot of long-time fans doubted that this day would ever come.
Here's something that long-time fans of the band are going to appreciate. There's no pit area for this concert. Every spot toward the front of the Blossom Music Center has a seat that you can comfortably fall back into during the moments of the show when you'll need a break. The Guess Who are going to make sure to take their time, and you can also be sure that it's fair to take a seat from time to time. Try to find spots toward the middle of the venue to ensure you have the best views of the performance!
Right now, you can get a spot on the lawn to catch The Guess Who for around $50. Hit the "Buy Tickets" link now before they start running out.
