After a hiatus of 25 years, the Doobie Brothers have reunited with John McFee, Pat Simmons, Michael McDonald and Tom Johnston coming together for their 50th anniversary tour in 2021. This year they will be performing in locations they haven't visited in many a year. The journey will start in Seattle and end in Salt Lake City, after traversing 38 venues across the United States. During the first 18 dates of the tour, Robert Cray will make an appearance as a special guest, while the rest gigs will be featuring Steve Winwood.

Their impressive collection includes three platinum albums, seven platinum albums, fourteen gold albums and even a rare diamond record for their popular 1976 release "Best of the Doobies." In 2020 the band was finally honored with induction, into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
