Simone Lamsma

Simone Lamsma is a Dutch violinist who can be seen performing a number of solo violin pieces as well as pieces for solo violin and orchestra. As soloist she will play some of the most difficult pieces in the classical repertoire with equal measure of skill and expression. Lamsma has recorded the complete Violin Concertos of Brahms, Tchaikovsky and Shostakovich among others. She has performed with many of the greatest orchestras of the world and received glowing reviews for her passionate and touching performances. Tabita Berglund

Tabita Berglund was born in Finland of Swedish parents. She started her musical studies in Copenhagen with Ole Ruud, then continued in Basel with Heinz Holliger, and in Freiburg she studied with Gerd Albrecht as well as assisted the conductor in his performances with the Freiburger Philharmonie. As assistant to Gerd Albrecht, Berglund worked with leading orchestras in Europe and in North America including the Berlin Symphoniker, NDR Symphony Orchestra Hamburg, Helsinki Philharmonic, Czech Chamber Orchestra and the Pro Musica String Quartet. She performs with a wide and diverse range of music from the earliest period of music through to the 20th century and approaches each work with great energy and deep understanding of the score's many moods and moments of dramatic change.

The Blossom Music Center is the summer home of The Cleveland Orchestra. The Pavilion at Blossom holds a seating capacity of approximately 19,000 and is an impressive venue.
