Rock and Roll Hall of Famer John Mellencamp and his Dancing Words Tour come to the Blossom Music Center on Tuesday, July 21st. This is one of the coolest summer performances at this venue this season. John Mellencamp was one of the founders of the now-traditional Farm Aid concerts, and he did that for all of the right reasons. Yet, his performances at this event have given us iconic moments that people still remember to this day. At 74, Mellencamp is still going strong, and he's ready to deliver all of the hits that marked 80s rock in a concert that unites soft rock with that hint of Americana we just don't get from many performers these days.

Hearing these tracks is like taking a bite into your favorite comfort food. One of the coolest things about this performance is that John Mellencamp can still play with the best of them.
