Blossom Music Center
The Blossom Music Center is getting ready to host a very special event. Empire of the Sun comes to Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, on Friday, August 21st. This stop is part of the Ask That God: Afterlife North American Tour. They're riding that 2024 release into a road trip in 2026. As mentioned, Empire of the Sun have been riding their Ask that God album since 2024. The band released an extended version to anchor their 2025 live performances, and that's going to continue into 2026. As we've come to expect from Empire of the Sun, the visual elements that accompany these shows are over the top. From the moment they walk out on stage in full costume, you're going to have that we're not in Kansas anymore moment. It's a completely different dimension where Empire of the Sun rules. You're going to understand quickly why they're one of the performers who regularly chart as one of the top live concert experiences according to fans.
Think about it, we're a few years removed from the release of the Ask the God album. At this point, both fans and the band know which songs from the release truly hit. The reimagined version of "Alive" is the track that the band's currently promoting. There's a better chance to hear that one live than there is to have to sit through some of the songs that maybe didn't get the traction the band hoped for. That means more room on the setlist for "Walking on a Dream," "We Are the People" or "The Spins." All of the tracks from the band that people actually know and love.
This is a concert that you almost have to treat like a theatrical experience. You're going to want to be able to see all of the smoke and mirrors that Empire of the Sun brings to the stage.
