Rock legend Sammy Hagar rose to fame with his work as a solo artist and his prominent efforts as part of Van Halen from 1985 to 1996. Hagar delivered epic vocals and songwriting prowess for Van Halen’s icoinc 80s albums 5150, OU812, and more. His most iconic songs include “Why Can’t This Be Love,” “Can’t Stop Lovin’ You,” and “Don’t Tell Me What Love Can Do” among others. Sammy Hagar also founded the band Montrose, and also had a myriad of projects including Sammy Hagar & the Waboritas, Sammy Hagar and the Cirlce, and Chickenfoot. A member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Hagar’s impact in rock music is totally undeniable.

He’s the musician responsible for 1981 mega hit “Jessie’s Girl,” which went to number 1 in his home country of Australia and the US. His work in this iconic title led him to winning the Grammy for Best Male Rock Vocal Performance.
